Jonas Bonn and I have worked recently to migrate GCC to the very latest version, 4.5.1. This completes the line-up of our GNU tool chain, with all tools in SVN now the latest version.

There are known failings in the port. At present trampoline code is not implemented, which will affect some functions. However for mainstream use it is quite satisfactory. It successfully compiles the Linux kernel.

This release is intended to form part of the next stable tool chain release at the end of this month. All feedback before then is particularly welcome. Details are on the toolchain page.

Enjoy

Jeremy
