Hi I'm creating this Thread to concentrate all the information regarding the next generation of the OR and discussion in this current moment of planning int his Thread, so any suggestions for a new architecture are welcome.

Hi,
There's a wiki already set up for the OR2K architecture development work. Rather than have a single thread on the forum like this, which is a pain to search through to find specific comments on a topic, it's best to use the discussion mechanism on the wiki pages to comment on things. http://opencores.org/or2k/OR2K:Community_Portal Please check out what is going on there, and feel free to join in the discussion on the proposals so far, although we're far from setting things in stone just now. Also if you wish to discuss with us, join us in IRC on irc.freenode.net in the room #opencores |

lvcargnini, Julius, It is a good point about the Wiki. However there is still a role for discussions here (and on IRC freenode.net, channel #opencores). Unlike the Wiki, these messages are notified to all 100K members of OpenCores (or at least those who are signed up to this forum). So it is a good way of getting wider involvement. I would suggest not just one thread, but a thread for each topic that needs discussion. Jeremy
